What is your most memorable childhood experience? | In high school, I was the star of the school play. Normally, the autumn production is only attended by the parents of the performers. When I was the star, however, we sold out all three nights. The play was called Brighton Beach Memoirs, and it was a comedy. Because of my performance, I received the "Most likely to be famous" superlative in my senior yearbook. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | My dad, because we share an interest in knowledge and applied reasoning. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | Ambition, generosity, focus, compassion, perseverance, conscientiousness. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | I am hesitant to assign a superlative like "funniest thing ever" to any one particular story. However, I can assure you that my life has been characterized by no shortage of amusing anecdotes. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would go to Africa and record oral histories. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | Conscientiousness, education and social ability. |
