What is your most memorable childhood experience?In high school, I was the star of the school play. Normally, the autumn production is only attended by the parents of the performers. When I was the star, however, we sold out all three nights. The play was called Brighton Beach Memoirs, and it was a comedy. Because of my performance, I received the "Most likely to be famous" superlative in my senior yearbook.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?My dad, because we share an interest in knowledge and applied reasoning.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?Ambition, generosity, focus, compassion, perseverance, conscientiousness.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?I am hesitant to assign a superlative like "funniest thing ever" to any one particular story. However, I can assure you that my life has been characterized by no shortage of amusing anecdotes.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?I would go to Africa and record oral histories.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?Conscientiousness, education and social ability.
