| What is your most memorable childhood experience? | Living for a year in Mauritania when I was six. I just have very vivid memories from my time there and it was an amazing experience. |
| What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | My older brother because we share a lot of similar interests. We have similar personalities, so it is easy to get along. |
| What character traits do you admire in an individual? | Kindness, respect for others, and responsibility. |
| What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | Probably getting walked in on in the bathroom by a baby mantled howler monkey. While I was a wildlife conservation research intern one of our responsibilities was to take care of these monkeys. |
| If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | The Dolomites in Italy. I love being in the outdoors and cycling. The Dolomites is an amazing place to do both. |
| When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I would like them to be respectful of others, have a good work ethic, be adventurous, and be kind. |
