What is your most memorable childhood experience? | I remember the first guitar that my dad bought for me when I was six. It was at a flea market, and I remember the vendor telling me after selling it to us that I'd better become a rock star because of this guitar. I'm no "rock star" but I know that if he were to hear me play today, he would be very impressed. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I identify with my mom. We share so many points of view about so many things. She and I are very free spirited, open minded, and happy-go-lucky. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire when someone looks inward for problems in their life instead of placing blame on others. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | I remember going to pick up a friend from his house when we were both ten years old. I rode with my mom in our Suburban and I decided to play a little prank on my friend so I hid in the back seat before he got in. He immediately asked where I was (I had previously told my mom to tell him that I stayed at home). As we drove off and my friend accepted this odd news, I snickered in the back seat. After a few beats, I jumped up to scare him. I will never forget the look on his face as I laughed with joy. He looked a concoction of amused, startled, and happy to see me sooner than expected. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would go to the Italian Alps to snowboard. I went snowboarding for the first time as a twenty year old and picked it right up. I was going down double black diamonds and hitting thirty foot jumps with ease. The Alps are the ideal place for a thrill-seeker. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I want to pass on my athletic, intellectual and musical abilities. |
