Essay Questions

What is your most memorable childhood experience? My most memorable childhood experience would have to be riding in a huge fire truck as a kid. My grandfather has worked in the same firehouse his whole life and he moved up to the top so he would take me out on slow days and we would just drive around town.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?My father. He is my hero, of course. I just see me in him. We are almost exactly the same. He understands me the most, gets along with me the most, and usually is interested in all of the same things I am. I have always identified closely with my father even from an early age.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?Bravery, courage, loyalty, optimistic, reliable, trusting, intelligent, mysterious.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?The funniest thing I can remember is when I took my best friend to an amusement park in the 6th grade. As we were waiting in line I felt something wet hitting the back of my leg. I looked down to see a puddle and then looked at my friend to see a blank face, as if nothing was happening, while he was peeing his pants in a crowded line of people. It was absolutely hilarious and of course I felt bad. I still don’t understand why he didn’t say he needed to pee or why he didn’t just go to a restroom.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?Everywhere. I want to see everything around the world, at least visit every country just for the sake of visiting every country.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I would like to pass on some stuff that my father has given me such as clothes. And there is a desk that was made in 1898 and was passed down to me from my great-grandpa, so I would love to pass that down and start a tradition.
