What is your most memorable childhood experience?Playing hockey was a big part of my childhood. I fell in love with the game at the age of seven. Through hockey, my father and I had a lot of bonding time as well, which continues to this day.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?My father. We share a strong bond, and spent a lot of time together.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?Honesty. In a world where truth can be a rare thing, it is refreshing and honorable to hear someone speak the truth and be a person of their word.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?When I was a new student at a new high school at age fifteen, I tripped walking up the stairs. A fairly large crowd saw me do this and got a lot of amusement out of it.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?I would travel to Italy, to see where my ancestors were from.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?A genuine compassion for others, and athletic ability.
