| What is your most memorable childhood experience? | My first memory is when I was fishing with my great grandfather. We would go out to a very small lake in a park and rent a boat. I don't remember catching very much, maybe a bluegill or two, but I enjoyed that time with him. I now am completely addicted to fishing and I remember him all the time when I am doing it. |
| What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | There are things I identify with about many of my family members, but I am probably closest with my grandmother. She helped raise me, and I have always been able to talk with her the most about anything. |
| What character traits do you admire in an individual? | Consistency and persistency. I am always trying to improve these traits in myself. Baseball teaches that consistency pays off. In the real world I believe it does as well. If you consistently picked the correct stocks that would be great. Persistency is obvious! No one likes anyone that gives up right away. |
| What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | When I was little I used to hear my cousin sing the Halloween song about "...give me something good to eat! If you don't I don't care I'll pull down your underwear." So the first time I went trick or treating, I got to my first house and the person opened the door and I just said "Underwear!" They were filming and I think they sent it to America's Funniest Videos. |
| If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would constantly travel because I love to try new foods and explore new places! The first few places on my list would be Belize, Japan and South Africa. Belize because there is great diving at the Great Blue Hole. Japan because there is great food and I have never been there. South Africa, I have seen some amazing pictures of beautiful scenery and also tasty looking food. |
| When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I would like pass on my optimistic attitude. I believe that positive thinking can make a considerable impact on your life. It is one of the most important things for everyone. |
