| What is your most memorable childhood experience? | My most memorable childhood memory was playing youth football with my dad as the coach. I made lifelong friends and met teammates that I would play sports with through middle and high school. I learned to enjoy sports and success (and failure) with a team. I also learned perseverance and teamwork skills at a young age. It was a great bonding experience between me and my dad as well. |
| What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I identify closely with my mom. She is someone who I feel like I can tell anything to and will always help when I need someone. She is very hardworking and determined, while still being extremely helpful to others and having humility. I identify closely with these qualities she has, and do my best to exemplify them in my own life. |
| What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire people who are ambitious and determined, while still looking to help others around them. I value passionate people with purpose who are smart about their goals. I admire people who are passionate about their lives, careers, and families. |
| What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | The funniest thing to happen to me was going out on a friend's 21st birthday. My friends and I ended up having to pull the birthday boy back to my house in a wagon. It was the most I've ever laughed in one night, and my friends and I still laugh about it whenever we get together. |
| If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would travel to the rural parts of Italy. I would do this to experience the "off the beaten path" history that the area has to explore. I would want to do this on a motorcycle trip with my dad because we both are passionate about motorcycles and are interested in history. Also, motorcycles on old curvy backcountry roads are extremely fun because you can smell the land around you and enjoy going from location to location. |
| When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I want to pass a sense of ambition and gratitude to my children. I want them to be driven and hardworking, but be able to be helpful to others and love the people around them. Mostly, I want to pass a strong sense of humor, and the ability to laugh at themselves as well as the simple things of life. |
