What is your most memorable childhood experience? | One time I was swimming with my dad, we got caught up in a current that took us out into the open ocean. We started to swim, and after some time we started to get tired. Just at that moment a big wave came in and it pushed us to the shore. We were scared, but happy to be alive. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | My grandmother. She has a huge heart, is always ready to help out, or to scold you if you misbehave, and she is always full of energy. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire courage and compassion. Determination, and being helpful and thankful. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | One time when I was a teenager I was sleepwalking. I remember seeing smoke as if something was burning. After walking for a few minutes I realized that I was only wearing my underwear. I saw a car coming down my street. I ran to the first house that I saw, only to realize that it had a fence. The car coming my way was my neighbor’s. She saw me and the only thing that I could do was lower my head and pretend she was not there. I was so embarrassed that I couldn’t talk to her ever again. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would go to Egypt. I find the culture completely different and exceptional. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | Courage, love, respect and sympathy. |
