What is your most memorable childhood experience? | My most memorable childhood experience would be all the time I spent helping my father in his garage when I was a child. He restored vintage cars and it always gave me a sense of pride and accomplishment. Even through the little amount of help I could provide at my age. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I most closely identify with my mother because of her strong work ethic and determination. I try to apply those same values to everything I do in my life. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | Above everything else, I admire honesty in an individual. I also admire people who work hard to make it through tough situations. Everyone is faced with adversity eventually, but how the person handles it can say a great deal about their character. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | I come from an area with relatively mild winter weather. When I was maybe seven years old we had a particularly bad winter storm with lots of ice. I was out of school and my mother had me tag along to the grocery store. I opened the car door (facing downhill in the parking lot) and proceeded to slip and slide for about thirty feet downhill. I remember the rush, and the look of my mother laughing so hard. Looking back I always just find it funny how I was so happy to be sliding down a parking lot. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would travel to Australia or New Zealand. Both are beautiful countries with tons of nature to explore. Also, as an avid rugby player, I would love to experience the sport in an area where it is such a big part of the culture. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | The willpower and determination my mother instilled in me. This has pushed me to be better and better in everything I do in life, and it is something I would want for them as well. |
