What is your most memorable childhood experience? | I'd say my most memorable experience had to be traveling to Israel with my family. I had never been able to see another part of the world before. And to experience the culture and change in society of a different country truly meant a lot to me. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I'd say my grandfather. He is an inspiration to me. He's the most loving and grounded person I know and has truly set an example on what it means to be a man and support one's family. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire my grandfather's ability to stay patient. He's logical, intelligent, and has such a great moral compass. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | The funniest thing that has ever happened to me was in high school. I was a varsity basketball player. I must have been so overtired and used to the routine of waking up early for before-school workouts, that I went to school on a Saturday, only to realize there is no school on Saturday! |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would like to travel to Greece. I just have such a fascination with Greek culture and mythology, and I hear it's one of the most beautiful places in the world. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | If I had children I would like to pass on my family's inherited jewelry collection. Never to be sold. Just to be worn and passed along generation to generation. I think one of the best ways to remember someone or where you came from is by having things that meant a lot to those people and wearing/owning them proudly. |
