What is your most memorable childhood experience?Summer camping on banks of Volga River. My grandfather was a professor of Chemistry. His students were studying ecology and researching the new influence on the wildlife during the summer months. I was allowed to participate in this camp despite my age. We fished, sailed to islands, watched wildlife and swam in the Volga.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?My father is a lot like me, however he does not always agree with me about what I should do in my life. He gave me a giant amount of life knowledge, which has made me the man I am.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?Honesty, the ability to live in the real world. The ability to see people and understand their needs.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?Once a raccoon tried to steal my car. I didn't lock the car and found him sitting on the driver's seat in the morning.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?To outer space, in order to explore the unknown. On Earth, pretty much everything is already discovered.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I would teach them that the world they are living in consists of nothing but human beings. It is only other people that make you successful and your work valuable.
