What is your most memorable childhood experience?My most memorable childhood experience would have to be the first Disney Cruise I went on with my family. I was 9 at the time and it was the greatest vacation I had ever been on. We went to St. Thomas, St. Martin and Disney's Island, Castaway Cay. It was filled with fun and lots of time with my family. Since then I have been on 7 more Disney Cruises with my family and friends.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?My Dad. We are both very pragmatic and logical when it comes to almost everything in our lives. We are just very similar and get along well.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?A good sense of self and honesty. I like to be around people who are honest with me and themselves. I think it is very important to be able to be objective about yourself.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?I like to think that I have a good sense of humor so I've had a lot of funny experiences in my life. However, one that stands out is the time that my Mom and I were at a Nationals play off game when they were playing the Dodgers. We are both huge Dodgers fans. We were in line to get food and talking about one of our favorite players Cody Bellinger. I get a tap on my shoulder and it's his mother. We all end up laughing and talking for a bit. The irony of seeing the away teams star player'smother in the stadium during the play offs was very funny.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?I would travel to Japan. I have always found Japanese culture to be very interesting and I like the balance that Japan has between the old and the new. The old Imperial Japan and the new modern Japan are very well represented. Japan seems to be proud of its past.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I definitely want to have children. I think the most important things to pass on to them would be a good work ethic and the ability to be yourself. A good work ethic because you won't get far in life without it and the ability to be yourself because you won't be happy without being true to yourself.
