| What is your most memorable childhood experience? | My most memorable childhood experience was participating in a baseball tournament when I was 12. It was during the transition summer from little league to real baseball where we had a week long tournament in the same city as the baseball hall of fame. The best players from my town's league stayed at a baseball campus with 50+ other teams from around the country. Each team stayed in their own building that was similar to a military barracks set up. We were able to spend a week with our best friends from our home town in addition to mingling with kids from all around the country. It was a great experience. |
| What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I am most close with my father. We have many similar interests in things like sports, politics, books, entertainment, etc. Our relationship has gotten closer as I have gotten older though. I am now able to call him to go over things as I go through different stages of life. It is good to have someone to talk to about anything I run into in life whom I trust. |
| What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire courage, work ethic, competence, loyalty, gratitude, a good sense of humor, humility, perseverance and a curiosity in life. I find that people that want to make the most out of their time on the planet tend to have these traits or develop them over time. This makes them admirable and someone who I like to be around. |
| What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | During a sales call when I was younger, a couple sat through an entire presentation without their pants on for some reason... they still wanted to buy by the end of the pitch but they failed the credit check... I am still not sure what was going on with these people... |
| If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would like to travel throughout the Mediterranean. I want to see the areas that were most important in the birthplace of modern western civilization. |
| When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I would like to pass on knowledge and wisdom I have accumulated through running a business. Things ranging from how to process and manage emotions, build relationships, communicate effectively, financial planning, goal setting, team leadership and other important lessons. |
