Essay Questions

What is your most memorable childhood experience? Some of my favorite childhood memories are just the summers where I spent time with my brothers. We had a great sibling relationship and would go to the mall together, grab a few sodas, and just look at all the shops. It was before the internet and cell phones were widespread so we enjoyed just going out and doing little things together.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I most closely identify with my older brother. We both have very similar personalities and mannerisms although we were born many years apart. I'm not superstitious but we are both Horses in the Chinese Zodiac, and Gemini's in the astrological sign.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?Right now I find that I value strength, not necessarily physical strength but rather a strong mindset. One of which that makes you take responsibility over your life and choices and thereby compels you to become the best person that you can be. Alongside that strength I value virtue. To seek truth and do right onto others, as you would do unto yourself.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? There are so many wonderful memories I have, I wouldn't know where to start. The funniest common occurrence, is just laughing over something silly with a friend. It can be something tiny and minuscule, but in that moment that shared laughter is all I can remember. Laughing so hard that I can't breathe, and then I choke, and laugh even harder because I'm literally dying from laughter.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?I would travel everywhere. Iceland, New Zealand, Vietnam, Peru. I want to see all the sights of the world, especially those that might disappear due to humanity's impact on the environment. I find myself particularly drawn to tropical climates with warm, clear water.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? There are many things, primarily thoughts and beliefs that I would like to pass onto them. I will most likely leave them a letter expressing that I care about them, and I want them to strive to actualize their full potential. And to make the world a better place.
