What is your most memorable childhood experience?I won a storytelling contest in 2nd grade. It was the first time I had ever won anything, and it helped me get over that initial fear of public speaking. I stood up in the crowd to tell my story and it felt like a real achievement. I was scared and nervous, but satisfied, because it took a lot of preparation to build up the courage to really step up to the plate.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I am closest to my older sister. We have the same personality and have a very similar mindset. We understand how to relate to our other siblings in the same way, and even though we live far apart geographically, we talk all the time.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?I admire dependability. Nothing is more important than that.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?I ripped my jeans all the way down the middle once when I was younger. It was super embarrassing at the time but thinking back on it makes me laugh now.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?I can’t narrow it down to one place. I want to travel everywhere because I am curious.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I would like to pass on my drive and athleticism.
