What is your most memorable childhood experience? | I have fond memories of growing up on my grandparents’ dairy farm. I enjoyed the endless activities such as tending to the many cows, exploring the farmland and woods, and riding along in the farm equipment. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I identify closely with my grandfather. He taught me a lot of things growing up. He was the hardest working, kindest, and most patient man that I know. As I grew older, I realized that I picked up on a lot of his mannerisms and I'm thankful for that. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire someone who is thoughtful yet honest with me if I seek their guidance. I also look for loyalty and good character. I also appreciate someone who has a good work ethic when it comes to accomplishing things. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | My first attempt of riding a hover board didn’t go well. I couldn't get the board to go in reverse until I leaned back too far. The board instantly flew backwards, and I landed flat on my face. Of course, I had buddies that were watching. Even though it did hurt, we all certainly got a good laugh out of my misery. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I would love to travel and spend several months exploring the Scandinavian countries. These countries offer beautiful year-round scenery and many outdoor activities that I enjoy such as hiking, skiing, and mountain biking. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | The first thing I would want to pass onto my children is patience. This has helped me in many situations. I would also like to pass onto them resiliency, because things won't always go their way. Finally, I would like to pass onto them a good work ethic. Many things in life are earned through hard work and dedication. |
