What is your most memorable childhood experience?My family took a trip to Wyoming in a van. It took two days to get there, and we made a lot of fun stops along the way. There was a place in Kansas that claimed to have a 10,000-pound Prairie Dog, which turned out to just be a giant prairie dog statue.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I identify most with my sister. She's the most like me and does a similar type of work.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?I admire honesty, integrity, humor, resilience.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?I was in 7th grade, and we had a contest for who could bring in the most amount of peanut butter and jelly containers for underprivileged kids. As each kid brought in a jar, my friend and I were tasked with doing the "Peanut Butter Jelly Time" song and dance.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?I would travel to the Maldives or Bora Bora. I want to see these places while I can. They are in danger of sinking due to rising sea levels because of climate change.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I want them to be kind human beings above all else.
