What is your most memorable childhood experience?I’ll always remember the first time I caught a fish with my dad. We have a pond in our backyard, and we stocked it with fish. He taught me how to bait the hook and cast and shortly after that I caught a catfish.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I identify most with my father; we have similar interests and personalities. My family also says I look just like he did when he was younger. We did not used to get along super well but the older I get the more we become friends.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?Determination: I admire when people go out of their way to achieve their goals. Emotional stability: I admire when people can prevent their emotions from getting the best of them and clouding their judgment. Loyalty: I admire when people stick around even when times are tough.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?When I was 18, my girlfriend at the time and her mom pretended I got her pregnant. She was having an irregular menstrual cycle, so she went to the gynecologist with her mom. Her mom knew we had been sexually active so to mess with me she told me the doctor said she was pregnant.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?I would travel to Spain, it's a beautiful place with beautiful people. I've always enjoyed the culture and the cuisine. If I traveled there, it would motivate me to learn the language, which would help me in my work.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I would like to pass on the positive parts of my personality and my priorities. I hope they become nice people who give everyone the benefit of the doubt. I want them to be optimistic and always see the good in people and life.
