| What is your most memorable childhood experience? | My most memorable childhood experience was traveling to Disney Land. Being able to meet the characters I saw on TV made me feel like the luckiest kid on earth. That’s how I started being interested in Star Wars. |
| What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I identify with my mother the most. I had a rough childhood, but seeing my mother’s resilience and her hard work as a single mother to fight for a better life for myself and my younger brother has inspired me. Because of my mother, I knew whatever goal I set for myself would be met and I would turn out to be as resilient as her. |
| What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I admire kindness, compassion, intelligence, and selflessness the most. I believe that people who put society’s needs before their own are the people we need to look up to. Intelligence is also super admirable when talking to someone. I think it’s best to always surround yourself with people you can learn something new from. If you’re the smartest person in the room, you’re in the wrong room. |
| What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | The funniest thing to ever happen to me was also the most painful. I took a dare as a 7-year-old child to eat a raw jalapeño pepper for $20. My face swelled up and I cried a little, but those were the fastest $20 I’ve ever made in my life. |
| If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | If time and money were not an issue, I would love to travel to Central and South America and visit the remnants of ancient civilizations. I’m really interested in learning about the technology the first inhabitants of the Americas came up with. I would also really love enjoying the cuisine native to that geographic region. Finally, I would absolutely enjoy hiking in the Andes mountains and hiking through the Amazonian rainforest. |
| When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | When and if I ever have children, I would love to pass on my love for culinary and dancing arts. I think being able to cook is a valuable life skill and one I enjoy quite thoroughly. I would also want to pass on important life lessons about being kind to others. I would raise my children to be loving people. |
