What is your most memorable childhood experience? My most memorable childhood experiences are having my father take me fishing on a regular basis. He would pick me up from school and we would cruise to our favorite (secret) fishing spot and fish until the sun went down.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I closely identify with my mom because she has instilled the values and morals in me by which I live my life. She is kind, funny, energetic and has an envious zest for life. I too consider myself to have those traits.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?I admire loyalty although I do understand that people make mistakes and time/actions can build back loyalty. What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?I lost a game of HORSE (basketball) in 8th grade to a 6-year-old in front of my whole school AND my future freshman year basketball coach. I was so embarrassed as I was trying to impress everyone in my school and my future coach. It was not funny then, but it is funny now!
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?I would travel the world on a yacht and scuba dive all the most beautiful coral reef ecosystems for pleasure and for service!
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I want to pass on a moral compass that will help them navigate life's challenges. With the basis of that moral compass centered around service, gratitude, leadership, and spirituality. I also want to help them develop tools such as meditation to ground them in the present moment.
