Essay Questions

What is your most memorable childhood experience? My most memorable childhood experience was when my mom and dad got married. I felt like the happiest kid ever because all my family gathered, and I saw all my cousins (I have a lot of cousins). We danced and played all day and night. I always enjoy family reunions.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I identify most with my mom. She is a strong, humble, and intelligent person. We are both so responsible with our duties, but we always have time for the people we love. She is a real role model.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?I admire kindness. The fact that we are all living on the same planet makes me believe that we need to respect, love, and be kind with people around us.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?The funniest thing is probably when we were at the beach with some friends in the early spring. We went into the water, but it was freezing cold. We decided to exercise a little bit to warm our bodies up. We tried again but still we couldn’t handle it. So, I decided to play some music and we danced close to the water. I lost my balance and I fell in the water again in front of all my friends.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?I am so interested in the eastern cultures of the world. I would love to visit Dubai, Turkey, Egypt, Kuwait and in Asia, Japan, Singapore, and South Korea.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I would like to pass on them firstly to have values: to be respectful, to be kind, to love others, and never hurt anyone. Also, I would provide tools to make them stand on their own. Life isn’t always easy, and we have to be prepared for difficult times, think correctly, and make the wise decisions that are key for a great life. They need to be good and functional human beings.
