What is your most memorable childhood experience?My most memorable childhood experience was helping my junior high wrestling team take home the championship. It was important for us to win because our school hadn't taken a championship in 8 years and the coach was retiring at the end of the season. I was proud of myself and the team for being able to get him one more championship under his belt before his retirement.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I identify most closely with my sister. As adults, we've come to appreciate each other's thoughts and opinions. We've made it a habit and commitment to talk often.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?I admire people that are capable, independent, and passionate. Those aren't just traits that I admire in others, but also traits that I seek in myself.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?Just recently, I set up a new security system and I was able to capture a hilarious dog moment. My dogs jumped up on each other and locked arms at the shoulders. It looked like they were slow dancing.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?Without the pressure of time and money, I would love to walk the way of Saint James. I would take the northern path from France through Spain and into Portugal. The walk would take 6 weeks.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I would like them to be capable, well-reasoned, and I would educate them on nutrition and fitness. I would teach my children self-defense, financial skills, and discipline.
