What is your most memorable childhood experience? | I have a few memorable childhood experiences. My first one was the first day of elementary school. Another one was winning a judo tournament when I was 11 years old. |
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why? | I identify most with my mother. She taught me the most important life lessons I know and it's largely because of these foundations I achieved what I currently have. |
What character traits do you admire in an individual? | I really admire persistence, will power, and patience in an individual. |
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you? | I needed to write an essay on the novel I was supposed to read for my literature class in high school, but I didn't read the book, though I vaguely knew the contents. I doctored an essay that very loosely resembled anything based on the novel. The teacher recognized that and read the essay in front of the class. Although I was ashamed at first, the most ridiculous details I had included into the essay and the way she read it made it hilarious. The whole classed laughed very hard, including myself. |
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why? | I’d go along the Trans America bike trail. It's a physically and psychologically demanding endeavor which also allows one to see all of the USA. |
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them? | I want them to be as empathic as possible, but not at the cost of sacrificing their own interests. |
