The weather, water, resort and the tour guides were simply perfect!
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I identify most with my grandfather. Although I never met him, my father always reminds me of how similar I am to him. I am also a hybrid of the arts and science just like him. He was very intelligent, motivated, hardworking, and kind. He painted incredible paintings at his home as well as beautiful billboards that were hand painted in the 1960’s and 1970’s. He was very worldly and studied scientific subjects in his downtime. Overall, a well-rounded person.
What character traits do you admire in an individual? The character trait I admire the most is optimism. One cannot bear the hardships and complexity of life without this trait. The second is grit. Most of life will take grit to make it through the tough times and think how you can make the situation better. Third is social intelligence. If one is to be an entrepreneur and an influencer on this earth one must possess the trait of EQ with social circumstances. Fourth and just as important as the first is gratitude. After all, a human is estimated to have a one in 400 trillion chance of being born in this universe. Being grateful for every day is a must!
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?The funniest thing that ever happened to me was in 7th grade when we were tasked with presenting a portion of the history book we were assigned. Each of us had to speak aloud a paragraph and when it was my turn to speak, I misread the word “beasts” as “breasts.” The entire class and teacher busted into non-stop laughter and I realized what I said. I myself cracked up and we had a good time.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?If I could travel to any part of the world, it would be Russia. I like the less traveled areas of the world where there is mystery and a completely different culture. I also resonate with the Russian language and people. I admire the resilience of the Russian people considering their tumultuous history. I think it is the most beautiful and rich language in the world and the people the most fascinating.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I would love to pass on my kindness, athleticism, competitiveness, hardworking nature, and linguistic skill. I believe my offspring have the potential to be great in any field and passion they commit to. The linguistic trait I find is rare and will serve the world in a very positive way. My big giving heart is also something I would like to see passed on to bring more joy to the world. A little competition is always good to stretch our minds and spirit. I hope to pass this on for their athletic journey if they choose to be a sports all-star.
