Essay Questions

What is your most memorable childhood experience?I’ll always remember playing video games with my cousin. As a child I would always love to hang out with him and play video games and watch movies. His family lived in a trailer, and it was always so cold in there which felt great.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?My mother and I have similar interests. She is my movie buddy. We try and meet up to watch big new movies (like Marvel movies).
What character traits do you admire in an individual?I admire mental strength and the ability to not be manipulated by someone else. Someone that can make a decision and not be easily influenced to change their opinion based on peer pressure also appeals to me.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?My friend had a cabin in the woods after high school and I got the idea to gather our other friends to scare him. We decided to reenact the movie “The Strangers”. I knew he had poor cell service so he couldn’t easily call anyone. The best part was waking up to his text the next morning (he didn’t know it was us) and then hearing his exaggerated explanation the following night at poker.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?The first place I would like to go would be Japan because I love the culture they have. I would also love to look up strange events that occurred in the world and go visit those areas.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I intend to make sure they work for what they own. My parents spoiled me (I was the youngest) and it definitely hurt me financially in the long run. I didn’t enter the job market until really late, and that lost time can’t be made up (especially the time that compound interest could have built).
