Essay Questions

What is your most memorable childhood experience?I’ll always remember the house I grew up in. We had a large family and a very neat pool so all our cousins would come to our house for the holidays. Just spending time with everyone in our home brings back great memories.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I identify most with my older brother. He has always been a role model to me. We didn't even get along until he left for college. We talked a lot over the years being in different cities and then were best friends once we were both back living in the same city.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?I admire honesty. There is really no point in being around people that you can't trust to be honest with you. I don't feel like I judge anyone, but I do ask the people close to me to just be honest.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?The funniest thing would probably be almost getting in a fight with my brother about him moving out. It was an emotional night, and he had a little too much to drink. He didn't know how to tell me he was moving out because he was moving in with his fiancé. We were like best friends so he thought I would be upset that he had to move out. At one point he blamed it on money and said he would fight me for the right to stay. It's been a good laugh ever since.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?I would love to visit Rome. I love the history of the city and would like to see it in person. I feel like it's a place you could spend a month in and not cover everything you need to see.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I hope to teach them to be honest and own their mistakes. Life is all about making mistakes because you have to put yourself out there and learn on your own. You must make sure you own up to them and grow from each one.
