We got to Atlanta and went to Piccadilly’s with my aunt, who made this trip worth it, and I wish she were still alive so I could talk to her about it.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I identify most with my sister because we fought a lot as kids, but we grew up to have a similar mindset and we connect on many things. We have similar perspectives on the world and what we plan to accomplish. She is a budding entrepreneur and I currently have my own business. We also look alike as well.
What character traits do you admire in an individual? There are a few characteristics that I admire in an individual: honesty, integrity, and calmness. I think being calm under pressure is an amazing characteristic that shows confidence.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?I attended a leadership conference and, on my way back home, I realized that I left my wallet at the hotel. I went back to the hotel and found it and only had an hour to get back to the airport. I almost missed my plane while running through the airport without my belt. My pants were falling down, and I was just doing my best to make it to the gate. One of my business associates said hi to me but I didn’t see him because I wanted to catch the flight.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?If time and money were not an issue, I would go back to Brazil. I absolutely loved it there. The weather was so exhilarating. The food was amazing. I would eat feijoada every day and play basketball there. The people are amazing too, very nice and welcoming and I would love to learn Portuguese.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?I want to pass a business asset on to them so they can be set up financially. I also would like to give them a success-focused mindset where they can be able to succeed in whatever they decide. I also would like to pass down traditions as well.
