Essay Questions

What is your most memorable childhood experience? My cousins and I have always been very close to one another. With that being the case, we still reminisce about the fun times we had when younger. One of the most memorable childhood experiences I had was going on vacation with all of them and our families. I had the most fun I've probably ever had.
What immediate family member do you closely identify with and why?I've been told that I am a lot like my grandfather from my mother’s side. Because he was tall and had wide shoulders my mother keeps comparing me to him. I've also been told that I do a lot of the things he does. For example, he used to call every person in his phone book once a month and although I don't call every single person, I do try to catch up with people who I truly care about.
What character traits do you admire in an individual?I admire people who are honest, not hypocritical, and thoughtful.
What is the funniest thing ever to happen to you?Something funny that happened to me was that when I was in middle school and was waiting to get picked up, I saw a car exactly like my mom's car and got right in. I sat down and started talking and suddenly some lady just started screaming at me saying, "Why are you in my car?!" I got very scared and confused and asked her why she was in my mom’s car. To cut the story short, I just got into the wrong car and my mom witnessed it all from her own car and she keeps making fun of me for it now.
If time and money were not an issue, where would you travel and why?I really want to go to a country in South America. I am not sure where exactly, but South America is the only continent apart from the Antarctic that I haven't visited. From what I've heard, South America is very eventful and lively so if I were to visit it I would like to go with close friends.
When and if you ever have children, what would you like to pass on to them?Personality-wise there is a lot that I would like to pass on. But if we were talking about heirlooms, I am not sure. There is this bracelet that was given to me by my grandfather, but I am not sure if I want to pass that on or keep it forever. There is a watch that I was given, so if it lasts until I have my own children maybe that watch.
