Today is World Kindness Day, and Fairfax Cryobank wants to highlight some of the reasons our donors donate sperm.

1. Donors often express the desire to help those who are unable to have children of their own.
2. They may personally know a family member or friend who has experienced infertility.
3. There are men who have grown up with donor-conceived friends, and that resonated with them.
4. Many donors also donate blood and are organ donors. They have a giving spirit.
5. They may have observed similar experiences with family or friends and are therefore looking for a way to make a difference.
