We recently asked our client service reps what makes them love their jobs at Fairfax Cryobank. Overwhelmingly, it was the ability to help someone along their journey to parenthood. Just recently I was working with a patient who needed a shipment delivered on Saturday and when I first answered the phone, it was five minutes from the 2pm EST cut-off for same day shipping. In a very short amount of time, I was able to confirm details with her physician’s office and get her order sent out in time for her scheduled insemination that Saturday. It always gets crazy around here as we near the cut off time, but I was able to make her laugh to make the situation less stressful and we both ended the phone call on a happy note. It felt good, not only to be able to get her shipment out on time but to make her feel better, too!
